Membership Management Implementation - In February, the Association of Mexican American Educators (AMAE) Executive Board made the decision to purchase Advanced Computing Concepts membership program for all 18 chapters of AMAE throughout California. The project, which is to be implemented in phases due to the size of AMAE's membership base, began in April 2006 and will be completed by July 2006. The membership management program which was developed by Advanced Computing Concepts to assist non-profits and other organizations with the maintenance and management of their member contact information, membership dues, and other administrative functions relating to their websites.

This online program gives organizations a cost effective way to manage the following functions:

  • Maintains a "members only" membership directory and provides a search engine to allow for ease of networking between members.
  • The ability to join an organization and pay membership dues and renewals online.
    • Includes functionality to schedule renewal notifications which are automatically sent to members. (Renewal notices may also be printed for mailing).
  • Post a calendar of events and allow website visitors to register and pay for (if a registration fee is required) for registration online.
  • Generate MS Excel download reports of membership contact information, payment information, and event registration based on user selected criteria.
  • Maintain a photo gallery of organization events.
  • Enhancements currently in process include a membership survey forms and tracking statistics, which will be introduced next month.

This system is also being utilized on the Kiwanis of Greater San Bernardino and Colton Chamber of Commerce websites.

My Registration Book - We are currently finishing up the development of our event registration website called My Registration Book. The website will be located at www.myregistrationbook.com and will allow users to:

  • Create a website profile and their own home page design using our design wizard.
  • Post events for their company or organization and allow visitors to their website profile to register and pay for events online.
  • Download MS Excel reports of event registration activity.

This system integrates with PayPal for online payments and costs will be based on the desired monthly subscription selected by the user.

This project is due out in May 2006. Stay tuned for more information.
